The SMA inverter from the Sunny Boy family makes the perfect partner to your off-grid system. It converts the direct current generated by the PV system into alternating current, working in harmony with the Sunny Island battery inverter.
SMA Smart Connected
For off-grid systems with internet connections, SMA Smart Connected will automatically monitor your inverter. Even before you notice a problem, the system has already notified the installer and a solution is on its way.
Diesel generator
The diesel generator ensures that your off-grid system is kept supplied with power even when there is little sunshine.
SMA ShadeFix
SMA ShadeFix is a patented, integrated software application that optimizes energy yield in PV systems. SMA ShadeFix outperforms most conventional hardware-based methods for (partially) shaded PV systems.

Sunny Portal
With the new Webconnect system, there is no need to have a separate communication unit. Up to four SMA devices can communicate with the router directly and transmit their data to the monitoring portal.
